We can be reached at (985) 649-0357 if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. .DISCUSSION... Little change in humidity expected from day to day throughout the forecast period. Min RH values should be around 50%. With ample low level moisture and generally lackluster winds, no critical fire weather concerns expected through the week. REMARKS... 1. Once the gradient winds kick in just after sunrise, the flow will be primarily out of the southeast, so the direction will stay the same throughout the day. The high-res models also suggest RH will remain the same as well, so not expecting a seabreeze, just steady southeast flow. 2. Winds will keep fog from developing both this morning and tomorrow morning. The overnight inversion should dissipate by 9am this morning and it will not return until around 8pm shortly after the sun sets. Then it will be similar to this morning where that inversion should go away by 9am. 3. There`s a 20% chance of showers today mainly in the afternoon and evening. 4. Tidal info for the closest site (Rigolets) is low tide at 1030am this morning at a stage of 0.6 and high tide is a stage of 0.7 at 339pm this afternoon.
