Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. A weak cold front will slowly move SE over the N waters Mon night into Tue, then stall over the central waters Tue night. The front will then lift N as a warm front across the central and N waters Wed into Wed night as developing low pressure passes N of the area.
