.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...Strong moist easterly flow will
remain over the islands through Monday night. Satellite shows most
of the moisture north of the islands while the afternoon RAOB
depicts an unstable profile. Low level convections will hold
scattered showers across the islands as they are orographically
lift over the mountain range. This will also generate convective
trails from mountain tops of the islands. Models have now pushed
showers associated with the trough north of the islands on Sunday
night and Monday. This will hold showers at scattered through the
beginning of the new week.

.Long term...
TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...The pressure gradient over the islands
will diminish as the trough up north moves farther west. This will
also diminish winds to gentle flow over the islands. The ridge to
the far south will hold stable weather and gentle east winds
through the weekend.

.Marine...
Rough seas of 7 to 9 feet will persist through Monday night. As
winds diminish, these wind generated seas will also gradually
subside 6 to 8 feet on Tuesday before dropping 5 to 7 feet on
Tuesday night. Gentle east winds will continue through the rest of
the new week and holding seas of 5 to 7 feet across the forecast
area. No significant swells are expected to pass across the region
on the new week.
