...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Ohio, including the following
  counties, Athens and Meigs and West Virginia, including the
  following counties, Jackson and Wood.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 126 AM EDT, gauge reports indicate that flooding was still
    occurring along the lower portions of the Shade River, Little
    Tygart Creek, and other creeks near the Ohio River.


  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Parkersburg, Pomeroy, Coolville, Forked Run State Park,
    Tuppers Plains, Washington, Mineralwells, Chester,
    Reedsville, Belleville and Davisville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
