showers, some with heavy rain generally east of a line from
Bartlesville to McAlester. They were most widespread and heaviest in
Ottawa and Wagoner counties in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in
the Tulsa and Fort Smith areas. Movement was to the northeast at
around 20 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was
around one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch to an
inch and a half. Coverage and intensity decreased during the last
hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon and into this
evening, slight a chance of thunderstorms with showers likely and
temperatures 61 to 65 degrees along with northeast winds 5 to 10
mph.
