.DISCUSSION...
Another warm and dry day across Southern New Mexico and Far West
Texas, but with some changes that will moderate fire weather conditions.
A weak front is pushing in from the Plains, with a moderate amount of
moisture. This will raise RH for eastern and central areas, and also help
to lighten the winds. Despite this, there will be some afternoon breezy
conditions, and most of the region west of the Rio Grande will stay quite
dry. The moist push expands west tonight on gusty east winds for
better RH recovery. That moisture will allow for isolated showers and
a few storms tonight and Saturday. Drier conditions return for the
first half of next week as temperatures warm up.
