A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

Nearshore waters from Sturgeon Bay to Sheboygan...
Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Sheboygan...

At 1049 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms, capable of
producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail and sleet. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Denmark
to 24 nm west of The Little Sable Point Lighthouse, moving northeast
at 45 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...locally higher
waves...and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
