western North Carolina mountains, the North Carolina foothills, and
much of Upstate South Carolina and northeast Georgia.

Georgia, the piedmont of western North Carolina, and the lower
piedmont of Upstate South Carolina.

Heavy rain will develop from the southwest starting late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

..Monday...Heavy rain with flooding possible. A low pressure system
slowly approaching from the west will likely produce heavy rainfall
across the region. Flooding of low-lying and flood-prone areas may
develop.
