...STORM SURVEY CONFIRMS A TORNADO OCCURRED EAST OF CLOVER SOUTH
CAROLINA ON SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service office in Greenville-Spartanburg SC
is conducting a damage survey today for the Lake Wylie area,
primarily in York County, South Carolina. The survey team has
been able to conclude that a tornado did occur east of Clover
Sunday afternoon. They have not yet been able to rate the tornado
on the EF Scale, but a rating will be made after assess more of
the damage that occurred.

A final assessment including full results of the survey should be
completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by
late afternoon.
