At 1030 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles north of Greenville Downtown, or near Furman University, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

Locations to be impacted include...
Greenville Downtown, Spartanburg, Gaffney, Forest City,
Rutherfordton, Columbus, Greenville Eastside, West Greenville, Greer
and Mauldin.

Torrential rains, wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail will be
possible in these areas.
