...Increased fire danger this evening across North Carolina...

Strong, breezy northwesterly winds with gusts of 25 to 35 mph,
will combine with relative humidity levels dipping as low as 25 to
30 percent creating elevated fire danger conditions across
western North Carolina.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn today or Thursday. If you do burn, you are advised
to use extreme caution.

...High fire danger conditions this evening across northeast
Georgia due to strong northwest winds...

Sustained winds of 15 to 20 MPH can be expected along with gusts
of 23 to 30 MPH. This will combine with relative humidities of 30
percent or less this evening. With dry fuels, high fire danger
conditions can be expected.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities
concerning whether your may burn outdoors.  If you do burn
outside, use extreme caution.
