.Marianas Synopsis...
Partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and gentle to moderate
trade winds prevail across the Marianas this morning. Altimetry shows
seas between 4 and 6 feet.

&&

.Discussion...
A dry trade-wind pattern looks to continue across the Marianas
through the weekend and into next week. Models are in fairly good
agreement that rainfall totals will remain fairly low, with guidance
showing less than 0.75 inch over the next 10 days.

&&

.Marine...
Marine conditions look to remain fairly uneventful over the next
several days. Combined seas of 4 to 6 feet look to slowly subside to
between 3 and 5 feet by midweek. Gentle to moderate trade winds are
expected for the next several days.

&&

.Eastern Micronesia...
The trade-wind convergence is breaking down over the region. Spotty
convection through out the region. There is a trough south and
southeast of Majuro atoll, however, the convection associated with
this trough is minimal. Otherwise not much is going on in eastern
Micronesia. For the immediate future, scattered showers are
anticipated through the region for the next week.

Altimetry shows combined seas of 6 to 7 feet to the east of Majuro.
Winds are expected to be moderate to fresh, diminishing over the
week to gentle to moderate. All things considered, marine conditions
are expected to remain below advisory levels of 10 foot seas and/or
22 knot winds.

&&

.Western Micronesia...
For Palau and Chuuk, persistent trade-wind troughs ripple through
these islands. These troughs are what will bring scattered showers
throughout the week.

For Yap, a dry pattern remains present. Around mid-week, one of the
trade-wind troughs is anticipated being large enough to bring much
needed showers to Yap. However, by the weekend, the dry pattern will
be back.

Altimetry shows combined seas of 6 to 7 feet between Yap and Chuuk.
Winds are expected to remain gentle to moderate through the week.
Marine conditions are expected to be below advisory levels of 10
foot seas and/or 22 knot winds.
