Recent guidance solutions have overall been reasonably well
clustered for this period and a composite blend seems to still
offer a solid forecast basis with good predictability. A surface
high well to the northeast of the state will favor seasonal island
trades into midweek. High pressure will then build and bridge to
the north of the state later this week and the weekend to support
an uptick in trades and breezy flow. This pattern will focus
limited moisture and rainfall chances into mainly windward
terrain, with remaining areas of state in an otherwise relatively
tranquil weather pattern under mean ridging aloft.

Meanwhile, Fausto has now reached Hurricane strength over the
tropical eastern Pacific and remains forecast by the National
Hurricane Center to track to the northeast of the state early next
week to interupt the weather pattern as a potent maritime threat.
