.SYNOPSIS...
Showers with a threat for thunderstorms as a low pressure system
passes through before exiting the region this weekend. High
pressure builds over the area next week, bringing a return to warm
and dry weather.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit Thursday night through
Friday night will make it difficult to move safely and could
produce local whiteout conditions. A high level of skill and
experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended
for navigation and camping in these conditions.

.THURSDAY...Partly sunny. A chance of showers and snow showers in
the morning. A slight chance of thunderstorms through the day.
Showers and snow showers likely in the afternoon. No snow
accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 12500 feet.
