...Notable but below river flood levels expected on the San Saba
River...

For the San Saba River at Menard:
* At 720 AM CDT Wednesday the observed stage was 3.05 feet.
* Action Stage:   8.0 feet.
* Flood Stage:    18.0 feet.
* Forecast: The river is holding steady at around 3ft and should
  remain that way through at least Friday.  Based on current trends,
  the river is not expected to reach action stage. This will be the
  last statement issued for this event.

rainfall could affect crest forecasts.
