Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
349 PM EDT Mon Jul 20 2026

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A front stalled over North Carolina will start returning northward
across the area tonight, bringing a chance of showers and
thunderstorms. Severe thunderstorms may form Tuesday afternoon and
evening ahead of a potent cold front approaching from the northwest.
This front may not clear the entire area until later Wednesday. High
pressure of Canadian origin will supply below normal temperatures
for the end of the week.
