The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Cape Henlopen to Fenwick Island DE out 20 nm...
  Outer waters from Great Egg Inlet NJ to Fenwick Island DE from 20
  to 60 nm...

* Until 215 AM EDT.

* At 111 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 12 nm northeast of Chicken Bone, moving
  east at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water, stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
