...River Statement For The Paint Rock River near Woodville...

Runoff from recent heavy rainfall has caused river levels to rise on
the Paint Rock River. Although it is not expected to reach flood
stage, some nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur. If
additional rainfall occurs, the river could still reach Flood Stage.

The Paint Rock River at Woodville.
* At 8:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.2 feet.
* Action stage is 13.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.7 feet
  this afternoon.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...The Butler Bottom Lowlands near the river
  are flooded. High waters are approaching County Road 20 north of
  the town of Paint Rock.


All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels.Additional information is
available at www.weather.gov.
