Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
445 AM CDT Tue Apr 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Although humidity will tick slightly higher today compared to
Monday, afternoon minimum relative humidity will still be in the
25 to 35 percent range in many locations with winds increasing out
of the south to around 10-15 mph during the daytime. Neither
elevated nor critical fire weather concerns are expected, but dry
and breezy conditions may cause a limited concern. Returning
humidity may result in some areas of fog development over
southeastern portions of Mississippi late tonight into Wednesday
morning.
