...Pop Up Showers With Some Embedded Lightning This Morning into
this Afternoon...

Latest KBRO radar indicated a batch of pop up showers over
portions of the Lower Rio Grande Valley this morning. There were
reports and confirmation via radar/satellite of a couple lightning
strikes between the Weather Service Office and South padre Island
this morning. Those with marine interest or with outdoor plans
need to exercise caution this morning into this afternoon for the
risk for some passing showers which could contain lightning.
