...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN CARTER COUNTY THROUGH
330 PM MDT...

At 222 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles southwest of
Ekalaka to 10 miles northwest of Antelope Butte. Movement of the
line was nearly stationary with individual cells moving northeast at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and up to penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ridgeway, Belltower, Capitol, and Albion.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Billings.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
southeastern Montana.
