This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A large storm system is expected to affect the area from late
Saturday through early Tuesday with a prolonged period of
intermittent precipitation including a wintry mix, rain, snow, and
thunderstorms all likely at times. Moderate to heavy snowfall
amounts and travel impacts are possible over northern Iowa. Gusty
winds are also expected as this system pushes through, with values
up to 35-45+ mph.
