.DISCUSSION...

Good morning Adam!

This morning`s stronger thunderstorms should remain well south of
Athens. However, a large rain shield created by these storms
could clip the Athens area briefly during the morning hours,
bringing with it the possibility of a few rumbles of thunder. This
should clear out by noon, provided it does hold together into
Athens. Skies should clear through the afternoon as a front moves
through the area. This will provide some relief from the humidity
and keep temperatures and the heat index in the low to mid 80s for
any remaining set up. Winds will pick up to 10-15 mph behind the
front, with some higher gusts in the 20s possible.

For the ceremony this evening, winds may remain a bit elevated
towards the beginning, but should begin to calm down with the
sunset. Temperatures will fall off into the 70s and even 60s by
the end, making for a pleasant evening.
