.DISCUSSION...
Periods of showers and embedded thunderstorms are expected for
today, with a high probability (>80%) of light rain continuing
through tonight. Occasional lightning will be the greatest concern
in the burn area, though that threat does diminish after 5 pm.

Aside from the storms, east winds will gust at times to 40 mph,
though gusts 25 to 35 mph will be more common. Direction should be
fairly steady out of the east during the day, but will rotate
around to the northeast then north early this evening (variable
direction most likely 5-9 pm). Northwest winds increase again
after midnight, with speeds 25 to 40 mph expected to dominate late
tonight through Wednesday.
