Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
1050 AM CDT Tue May 7 2024

A line of showers and scattered thunderstorms moved through the
region late this morning. Brief heavy rains and gusty winds
accompanied the precipitation. Temperatures dropped into the lower
to middle 50s once the rains began.

For this afternoon, periods of rain and some thunderstorms will
lift northeast across the region ahead of a cold front. A few
strong or possibly a severe storm will be possible from late
afternoon to early evening over central Wisconsin and the southern
Fox Valley. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive warning
information. A wide range in temperatures is expected for this
due to the rainfall occurring during peak heating, with highs
ranging from the middle 50s to the middle 60s.

The chance of showers and storms will continue into this evening
before gradually ending. Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies are
expected for most of tonight with some partial clearing possible
over central Wisconsin toward daybreak. Lows will mainly be in the
middle 40s to around 50 degrees.
