This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Very high grassland fire danger is likely across the entire area
Wednesday and Thursday and for a few counties on Friday. This will
mainly be due to increasing south winds.

Chances of thunderstorms will be possible for Thursday night and
Friday, mainly across eastern Kansas. Thunderstorms will be
possible again on Sunday for southeast Kansas. Severe storms are not
expected with this activity.

Very high grassland fire danger levels could affect the entire
region for Monday afternoon.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
