This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers with embedded thunderstorms will impact southern Kansas this
morning while lingering into the afternoon hours over parts of
southeast Kansas. Severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

An outbreak of severe thunderstorms is expected Monday afternoon
and evening across the region. The most intense supercell storms
will be capable of producing baseball to softball sized hail,
damaging winds around 70 mph and tornadoes. Some of the tornadoes
could be strong. The threat for strong tornadoes will be greatest
during the late afternoon and evening hours across southern Kansas
and extending south into Oklahoma.

There is a slight chance for a severe storm or two over extreme
southeast Kansas on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Severe weather
is possible, although better chances will likely be east and
southeast of the region.
