This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Temperatures overnight will drop into the teens and 20s. Be sure to
protect any sensitive outdoor vegetation. In addition, any above
ground plumbing associated with sprinkler systems need to be drained
or protected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Temperatures early Wednesday morning will drop into the teens and
20s. Be sure to protect any sensitive outdoor vegetation. In
addition, any above ground plumbing associated with sprinkler
systems need to be drained or protected.

Very high grassland fire danger is likely on Thursday afternoon
across central Kansas and across the Flint Hills and south central
Kansas on Friday afternoon.

There is a slight chance for thunderstorms Sunday night through
Monday night across southeast Kansas. There appears to be at least a
low risk for strong to severe storms on Monday.
