It was partly to mostly cloudy across north central and northeast
Kansas overnight where showers were widely scattered with isolated
thunderstorms. A mostly clear sky was found across south central
and southeast Kansas. Predawn temperatures were mainly in the 50s.

Strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon through early
tonight along a cold front from Iowa and southeast Nebraska across
northwest Missouri, eastern Kansas into central Oklahoma. Locally
heavy rainfall is also possible again tonight over southeast
Kansas which may aggravate or result in additional flooding. Dry
weather is expected further west across western sections of Kansas
and Nebraska.

High temperatures today will generally climb into the 70s and 80s
across mid-America, though much warmer lower 90s are expected
across parts of southwest Kansas and western Oklahoma. Lows
tonight will range from the mid-40s to the lower 60s with the
coolest readings across northwest Kansas and western Nebraska.
