...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN COPIAH COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...
The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
central, south central and southwestern Mississippi. A Severe
Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for south
central Mississippi.

FOR LINCOLN...SOUTHWESTERN LAWRENCE...SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON...
FRANKLIN AND EAST CENTRAL ADAMS COUNTIES...
At 1222 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Silver Creek to near Bogue Chitto to near Roxie,
moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Brookhaven, Meadville, Bude, Roxie, Bogue Chitto, Topeka, Caseyville,
Mccall Creek, Hamburg, Kingston, Garden City, West Lincoln, Vaughn,
Little Springs, Ruth, Loyd Star, Jayess, Center Point, Enterprise,
and Kirby.
