...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT MONROE...SOUTHEASTERN SIMPSON...
ALLEN...SOUTHEASTERN WARREN...SOUTHERN BARREN AND SOUTHWESTERN
METCALFE COUNTIES THROUGH 215 AM CDT...

At 134 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles west of Scottsville, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsville, Tompkinsville, Gamaliel, Fountain Run, Gum Tree, Harlan
Crossroads, Greenhill, Austin, Settle, and Raley Ford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
