increase Friday before widespread wetting rain, lower temperature
and higher humidity moves in Saturday. A gradual warming trend will
kick off Sunday as high pressure rebuilds.

Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

High pressure aloft will continue to weaken today ahead of a low
pressure system moving into the area this weekend, bringing cooler
and less dry conditions each day. High temperatures will lower from
65 to 75 on Friday to 55 to 65 over the weekend. On Friday,
strengthening onshore flow will bring a rapidly deepening marine
layer and southwest wind gusts of 25 to 45 mph over the interior
mountains and deserts. Another storm system is expected over the
weekend, with the most likely rain amounts of 0.25 to 1.00 inches,
except local 1 to 2 inches in the south facing foothills. There is
a 10 to 20 percent chance of thunderstorms, where locally gusty
winds, small hail, and brief heavy rain is possible. Gusty south
winds are also expected on Saturday, turning westerly on Sunday.
Warmer and drier conditions will follow Monday through the rest of
next week.
