and westward 60 nm.

PZZ300-161600-
200 AM PDT Tue Apr 16 2024

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON COASTAL WATERS...A thermal
trough will bring strong, gusty north winds to the waters through
midweek. Steep to very steep wind driven seas are expected south
of Cape Blanco through this morning, highest south of Gold Beach.
The thermal trough will strengthen resulting in gale force north
winds during the afternoons and evenings through Wednesday with
the highest winds and seas from about Port Orford southward.
Conditions hazardous to small craft with gusty north winds and
steep seas expand north of Cape Blanco during this time frame. The
thermal trough weakens Thursday into Friday with improving
conditions, though steep seas are likely to linger through the end
of the week.
