...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM EDT...

S of Ocracoke Inlet NC to Cape Lookout NC out to 20 nm...
Waters from Cape Hatteras to Ocracoke Inlet NC from 20 to 40 nm...
Waters fromOcracoke Inlet to Cape Lookout NC from 20 to 40 nm...

At 300 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 11 nm south of Ar230 to 12
nm southeast of Ar250 to 13 nm south of Ar255, moving east at 25
knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
