...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern
Comanche, central Jackson, south central Kiowa, northern Tillman,
northwestern Wilbarger and northeastern Hardeman Counties through
1045 PM CDT...

At 1002 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Elmer, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Altus, Cache, Snyder, Tipton, Olustee, Mountain Park, Indiahoma,
Manitou, Elmer, Headrick, Humphreys, Altus Air Force Base,
southwestern Fort Sill, Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, Hess,
Doris Campground, and The Visitor Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor NOAA Weather
Radio, local radio stations or available television stations for
additional information and possible warnings from the National
Weather Service.
