...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN JACKSON...NORTHEASTERN BOLLINGER...PERRY AND
NORTHWESTERN CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTIES...

At 706 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Sparta to 6 miles west of Perryville to 6 miles
southeast of Marquand, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Chester, Perryville, Bollinger Mill State Historic Site,
Altenburg, Patton, Millersville, Burfordville, Daisy, Alliance,
Campbell Hill, Frohna, Oak Ridge, Sedgewickville, Pocahontas,
Longtown, Old Appleton, Lithium, and Silver Lake.

This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 105 and 137.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
