Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast

.SYNOPSIS...Showers and thunderstorms will continue across Mount
Rainier National Park Thursday night with a low pressure system
spinning offshore. Shower and thunderstorm activity will gradually
wane on Friday, with warmer and drier conditions expected over
the weekend and into Monday as upper level ridging builds into
the region. A return to cooler and wetter conditions looks to
resume Tuesday into Wednesday next week.

.THURSDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of thunderstorms
in the evening. Rain showers and snow showers in the evening,
then a chance of showers after midnight. Snow may be heavy at
times in the evening. Snow accumulation near Paradise of 3 to
8 inches. Snow level near 3000 feet.
.FRIDAY...Partly sunny with a chance of showers. Snow level near
3000 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers in the
evening. Little or no snow accumulation near Paradise. Snow level
near 3500 feet.
.SATURDAY...Sunny. Freezing level near 4000 feet increasing to
6000 feet in the afternoon.
