.DISCUSSION...A somewhat diffuse frontal boundary associated
with an area of low pressure will be working through the burn
area Monday morning. The best chances for snow showers will be
noted as the front passes in the morning, with some potential for
more scattered lingering activity thereafter into the afternoon
hours. Additionally, will see winds increase out of the northwest
and become fairly gusty (gusts in the 30-40 mph range) during the
afternoon hours. Precipitation chances further dwindle, skies
continue to clear, and winds and associated gusts decrease during
the overnight hours. On Tuesday, clear to mostly clear skies are
expected, with more modest northwest winds and gusts during the
day. Mixing heights and transport winds are anticipated to be
elevated enough to result in excellent (1000+) afternoon clearing
index both Monday and Tuesday.
