.SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN WASHINGTON AND NORTHERN OREGON COAST...
A 996 mb surface low about 75 nm west of Newport this afternoon
will continue to move east and weaken tonight. Higher pressure
spreads over the waters from the west behind the departing low.
An unstable air mass remains over the waters Saturday. Another
surface low develops near Vancouver Island Saturday evening and
drops south Saturday night and Sunday. High pressure returns to
the waters early next week.
