...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
Alabama...
Tennessee River AT Florence affecting Colbert and Lauderdale
Counties
River levels at Florence may flucuate slightly and rise by 0.1 to 0.2 feet
today, but the river is expected to crest late this afternoon below flood
stage and then slowly fall over the next couple of days. Given that the
forecasted levels continue to remain below flood stage, the Flood Warning
for the Tennessee River at Florence has been cancelled.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safety message...Do not attempt to drive through a flooded road. The
depth of water is not always obvious. As little as two feet of water
will carry most cars away. Also...The road bed may be washed out
under the water...and you could be stranded or trapped.
