.DISCUSSION...

Shower and thunderstorm chances will return today as an upper
shortwave moves east toward our area. Rain chances will then increase
as we move through the weekend. Probabilities will remain elevated
next week as a tropical disturbance moves northward toward the mid
state. Rainfall totals over the next 7 days will range from close to
3 inches along the Plateau, to 1 1/2 inches west.
