Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
132 AM MDT Tue May 14 2024

.DISCUSSION...

An upper level disturbance moving over the Northern Rockies will
bring predominately light rainfall to most Fire Weather Zones
through this afternoon/evening, with the "heaviest" precipitation
falling across zones 114 and 117 where there exists a 20-50%
chance for rainfall amounts to exceed 0.25". Below normal
temperatures today will climb back well above normal for Wednesday
and Thursday, with breezy and gusty southwest to west winds
expected each day. Another disturbance moving over the Northern
Rockies from Friday through Saturday will bring additional
precipitation chances to region, especially to zones 112, 113,
115, and 117. - Moldan
