...THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Boston Harbor...
  Massachusetts Bay and Ipswich Bay...

At 322 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of showers and
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds up to 25 to 30 knots. The
precipitation was located along a line extending from 11 nm
northwest of Lynn to 6 nm south of Patience Island, moving east at
30 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Eastern Point Ma, Mass Bay Buoy 44029, Boston Light, Sandy Bay,
Marblehead Neck, Broad Sound, Minot Light, Green Harbor, Ocean
Bluff-Brant Rock, Gurnet Point, Boston Harbor, Beverly Harbor, Boston
Buoy 44013, Ipswich Bay, Plymouth Light, Duxbury Pier Light, Essex
Bay and Scituate Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...briefly rough seas and
lightning strikes. Consider heading for safe harbor until these
storms pass.
