...GUSTY SQUALLS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER PORTIONS OF THE STRAITS OF
FLORIDA...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef west end of Seven Mile Bridge out
60 nm...

At 1210 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
broad swath of squalls and thunderstorms, capable of producing wind
gusts near 30 knots. This squall line was located along a line
extending from 10 nm east of Pacific Reef to 7 nm northeast of
Floyd`s Wall Northeast to near Marathon Humps, moving east-northeast
at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Islamorada Hump, Tennessee Reef Light, French Ref, 409 Humps, Floyd`s
Wall Southwest, Alligator Reef Light and Molasses Reef Light.

Through 130 AM, prepare for squalls with wind gusts near 30
knots...locally rough and confused seas...occasional lightning
strikes...and potentially blinding downpours.
