.DISCUSSION...Very warm temperatures are expected today with
highs in the mid 80s to mid 90s, and minimum relative humidity of
30 to 40 percent. Winds will be northwest at 15 to 25 mph across
northwest and west central South Dakota, and south to southwest at
15 to 30 mph across southwest and south central South Dakota.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fire occurrence is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions.

The outlook for Memorial day afternoon, The grassland fire danger
index will reach the low category.
