...Elevated Fire Danger this Afternoon...

The combination of brisk and gusty west winds and a dry low level
air mass will lead to elevated fire weather conditions this
afternoon across south-central Missouri. Wildland fires in these
conditions will have the capability to quickly grow and spread.
