...Frost/Freeze Program Update for Spring 2024...

The frost/freeze program for spring 2024 will begin Saturday, May
11th for the Down East Region of Maine. This includes the
following areas: Southern Penobscot County, all of Hancock County,
and coastal and central Washington County.

The program will expand north on May 21st to include most of the
remainder of northern and eastern Maine. The only areas where the
program does not become active until June 1st are across northern
Somerset, northern Piscataquis, and northwest Aroostook Counties.

A frost advisory will be issued if the temperature is expected to
drop to 32 to 36 degrees, and a freeze warning will be issued if
the temperature is expected to drop below freezing. If you have
