...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM CDT MONDAY FOR
GUSTY WEST WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE RIO GRANDE
PLAINS AND SOUTHERN EDWARDS PLATEAU...

The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a
Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from noon to 8 PM CDT Monday. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.

* WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly and
  exhibit resistance to control. Any outdoor activity that could
  produce flames or sparks is discouraged.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
