.DISCUSSION...
A cold front crosses this morning ushering a dry airmass with NW
winds gusting 20-25 mph from mid morning until early afternoon
with higher gusts in the mountains. Deep mixing combined with the
dry airmass will lead to min RH dropping into the teens to 20
percent range by early this afternoon, while NW winds will start
to relax from early afternoon into this evening. There will be
moderate humidity recovery tonight as low temperatures drop into
the 20s. Dry conditions continue Tuesday with increasing
southerly
winds that will approach 25 to 30 mph Tuesday afternoon. These
winds will advect some moisture into the region and min RH will
not drop as low as today. Low pressure brings widespread wetting
rains Wednesday with rain changing to snow in the mountains.
