.DISCUSSION...
Cooler and drier conditions (with no rain) are forecast through
Saturday. Although, minimum relative humidity values in afternoon
Friday and Saturday will be well above critical thresholds. Mixing
heights on Friday are forecast to reach between 5300-6300 feet,
while higher values may occur on Saturday (5800-7500 feet),
especially over northwest Alabama. It will be breezy Friday
afternoon as well, with northwest transport winds between 15-20
mph. By Saturday afternoon, transport winds will generally be
around 10 mph or less. Lastly, daytime dispersions will be good on
both Friday and Saturday.
Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog is possible
during the late night/early morning hours tonight and Saturday
night.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
